Mississauga, Ontario — By spring of 2021, Mitsubishi Motors Canada will transform its lineup, including one all-new, ground-up redesign.
Mitsubishi says, this upgrade proves its “commitment to deliver high quality, top value, leading-edge technology vehicles in Canada.”
The RVR will be available in late 2020 as a 2021 and has undergone significant upgrades on the interior and exterior. It will carry over for the 2021 year, with its stand-out exterior styling. This vehicle is Mitsubishi Canada’s best-selling model, and was ranked in the top three in the 2020 U.S. JD Power IQS study in the Small SUV class.
Following the RVR, the 2021 Mirage will be released in the first quarter of 2021. Canada’s most fuel-efficient non-hybrid vehicle will feature styling and trim changes and active safety systems will be made available.
The 2021 Outlander PHEV will benefit from a completely new powertrain. The updated internal combustion engine has increased displacement and greater horsepower, and the larger and more refined electric drive system offers more all-electric range and speed of operation.
The Eclipse Cross will hit the market in the first quarter of 2021, as a 2022 model. The redesigned Eclipse Cross incorporates major front and rear design enhancements, taking cues from Mitsubishi’s next-generation design language. The Eclipse Cross will sport a fresh new look, revised interior, and new infotainment system.
The all-new next-generation Outlander will be made available in the spring of 2021, as a 2022 model. The new model will be “bigger, bolder and better than ever before,” and will be the “quietest and best-equipped Mitsubishi ever sold in Canada,” says the company. Further details will be announced in a global reveal and launch event to be held in early 2021.
More details on each vehicle’s specifics will be available closer to the launch.
