The Women and Automotive Canadian Leadership Forum

Toronto, Ontario – March 1, 2019 – The Women and Automotive Canadian Leadership Forum is only a couple short weeks away!

Filled with presentations, panels, and discussions, this year’s event will take place on March 21, at the Westin Harbour Castle in downtown Toronto. All women and men are invited to register and engage on topics like dismantling the lie of perfection, advancing women in leadership in auto, mindfulness in business and more.

The first panel discussion, which will be led by Priyank Mehandiratta, director of learning for DX Learning Solutions, will focus on Advancing Women Leadership in the automotive industry. One of the panelists includes Laura Zanchin, EVP and president of the Zanchin Automotive Group. The panel will discuss strategies to get more women in C-level positions across the auto industry. According to Grant Thornton’s “Women in Business: Beyond Policy to Progress,” women held under a quarter of senior roles across the world in 2018 — a drop from 25 percent in 2017.

The second panel, Dismantling the Lie of Perfection – How Mistakes Lead to Success will focus on the discussion on why seeking perfection in the workplace leads to seeking approval. This panel will be led by Ashley Middleton, account director of sales at autoTRADER.ca.

Finally, there will also be a keynote on Leading with Intention, headed by, president and CEO of leadership training and brand development firm The Minery, Heather Macpherson.
