Toronto, Ontario — Mediacorp Canada Inc. has released its list of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2023, citing employee accommodations and work life balance as the prime criteria for the rankings.

Rather than a bag of chips and a pat on the back, these companies take an active hand in the well-being of their employees. Many offer options for in-person or remote work, provide professional feedback and aids for personal wellness—in other words, green spaces, gaming stations and mental health services.

Here are some standouts from the automotive industry—for the full list, click here.

3M Canada supports its 1,842 employees through ongoing employee development via formal in-house training initiatives as well as generous tuition subsidies.

BASF Canada Inc. moved to a new location to support the hybrid work of its 1,089 employees, using open concept designs and innovation spaces for connecting their workers.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing offers its 10,009 employees a variety of onsite amenities including a fitness facility, employee lounge, quiet room, outdoor walking trails, baseball and basketball courts, as well as a community garden.
