Summit Suspended: IBISTV Global Summit postponed to December

London, United Kingdom — The International Bodyshop Industry Symposium has announced that its IBISTV Global Summit, which had been scheduled for November 19, has been postponed to December 17.

“With the second wave coronavirus lockdown in England due to last for one month from November 5, it is no longer possible for us to build a physical television studio from which to stream the programme live,” said IBIS in an emailed statement. “Not wishing to change or cancel the fantastic televisual line-up we have in store for our viewers, we have taken the decision to postpone the broadcast to Thursday 17 December.”

IBIS has said that, other than the date change, no other changes to the event have occurred. The organization says the event is slated to be a four-hour live broadcast fronted by a well-known television journalist and will feature an engaging set of studio-based features, outside broadcasts and documentary-style packages.

The event also marks IBIS’s 20th anniversary.

Even if you cannot make the new date, IBIS urges attendees to keep their registrations in place to ensure access to all the event content on catch-up for 30 days and to the invaluable Global Focus report, brimming with useful and important industry data by geography.
