Small but Powerful: asTech to unveil Mini scan tool at SEMA, ahead of official 2023 launch

Las Vegas, Nevada — A new product from Repairify subsidiary asTech promises to deliver big results in a small package, with the new asTech Mini diagnostic scanning device set to be debut at the SEMA show next week.

When paired with asTech’s companion mobile app, the Bluetooth-enabled OBD II scanning solution packages the functionality of thousands of OEM scan tools into a single pocket-sized device.

“The asTech Mini delivers the remote OEM and local OEM-compatible diagnostic scanning that customers have come to expect in a much smaller package,” said chief marketing officer and global head of tools for Repairify, Maurice Tuff.

“It’s like having hundreds of certified technicians and over a 1,000 OEM tools right in the palm of your hand.”

This new product from asTech allows technicians to perform local OEM-compatible quick scans, read and clear trouble codes, as well as access post-scan reports in the asTech mobile app.

Representatives from asTech will be on the SEMA show floor next week to show off the new product, though the company says repair centres will have to hold off until the new year before they can get their hands on one.

SEMA show attendees will get to see the new Mini scan tool in action at a number of locations at the Las Vegas Convention Center, including the SEMA New Products Showcase (booth 31307), Repairify’s main booth (31201) in the Upper South Hall and the SEMA Show ADAS Feature (booth 36007).

As well, Repairify’s v-p of training and development, Chris Chesney, will be speaking at three SEMA Education sessions during the show.
