Sharing is Caring: CARSTAR donates more than 880lbs of food to Hamilton Food Share

Hamilton, Ontario – Thanks to three CARSTAR locations across Hamilton and an 880lb food donation, Hamilton Food Share will be able to provide some of Hamilton’s most vulnerable with basic necessities.

The donation from CARSTAR Hamilton Midtown, CARSTAR Hamilton Lockwood and CARSTAR Waterdown helps to alleviate some of the current stress on food banks across North America who are experiencing a strain on provisions.

“Our goal with this donation is to help our most vulnerable during a difficult time,” says Peter Chavez, owner, CARSTAR Hamilton Midtown, CARSTAR Hamilton Lockwood and CARSTAR Waterdown. “Supporting the communities we work and live in is a core value of our business and we hope this donation helps those who need it most.”

“This year has created some challenging circumstances for many,” adds Robin Juns, VP of Sales and Marketing, CARSTAR Hamilton Midtown, CARSTAR Hamilton Lockwood and CARSTAR Waterdown. “I am grateful to be a part of such a hardworking and dedicated team, and I look forward to continuing supporting our community with both their collision repair needs and with future contributions.”
