SCRS Seminar: Ask the Experts–How Professional Restorers Deal with Disinfecting Vehicles

Toronto, Ontario — April 21, 2020 — The Society of Collision Repair Specialists is hosting a special webinar on the disinfection of vehicles, which is to be held on April 28, at 2p.m. EST/11a.m. PST.

“The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) recognizes that the industry is seeking appropriate responses and practices, and has established a webinar at 1:00pm EDT on Tuesday, April 28th 2020 to learn from professional restorers experienced in restoration, decontamination and infectious disease control,” wrote SCRS executive director Aaron Schulenburg in a note to industry members.

“The conversational webinar will explore topics on how to manage customers’ expectations, and what practices, processes and disinfectant agents work–and which ones don’t.”

Titled Ask the Experts: How Professional Restorers Deal with Disinfecting Vehicle, the seminar will be hosted by Schulenburg, and feature four expert guests:  Kris Rzesnoski, Norris Gearhart, Jordan Hendler and Kye Yeung.

Kris Rzesnoski, Encircle’s vice president of business development, has worked on the restoration of water-damaged yachts, and vessels containing biohazardous materials.

Norris Gearhart, founder of loss and disaster mitigation firm Gearhart and Associates was the former COO of TOMI Environmental Solutions, a global bacteria decontamination and infectious disease control company.

Jordan Hendler, the executive director of the Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Associations, is the conference administrator of the Property Insurance and Restoration Conference, a restoration sector conference.

Kye Yeung, president of European Motor Car Works, a factory authorized and certified structural repair center for Aston Martin, McLaren, Jaguar, Range Rover, Tesla and Acura NSX, and is the past chair of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists.

Through its direct members and 40 affiliate associations, SCRS is comprised of 6,000 collision repair businesses and 58,500 specialized professionals who work with consumers and insurance companies to repair collision-damaged vehicles.
