Ottawa, Ontario — August 27, 2014 — Registrations have opened for the next meeting of the Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF). The last meeting of 2014, CCIF Montreal is set to take place September 26 at the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure.
CCIF Montreal starts the evening of September 25 with a networking reception, starting at 7:30 p.m. The following day features a full agenda of presenters from across the auto claims economy. Simultaneous translation of all presenters will be provided in English and French.
One of the speakers for the upcoming event will be Larry Coan, Damageability Product Concern Engineer for Ford Motor Company. Coan will present on “2015 Ford F150: The information you need to know.”
Coan has spent 19 years with Ford Motor Company in customer service engineering, and is responsible for forward model â€œDesign for Damageabilityâ€ and identifying vehicle design actions that impact collision repair and customer cost of ownership. He is also a primary liaison with Insurance Industry representatives and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
At CCIF Montreal, Coan will share a 2015 F-150 product overview, demonstrate how the vehicle has been designed to be easily repairable and review a comprehensive communication plan created to reach out to insurance and collision industry key stakeholders.
