Toronto, Ontario -- I-CAR will return to the 2025 SEMA Show with a lineup of live demonstrations and training exhibits focused on preparing collision repair professionals for the next generation of vehicle technologies.
The not-for-profit training organization will occupy booth #33135 in the upper south hall, showcasing mixed reality simulations, welding demonstrations and new course material developed around emerging OEM repair standards.
At the collision repair and refinish stage (#32145), instructors will join other industry experts to discuss the evolving demands of modern repair procedures, ADAS and technician training. The stage will also feature live welding demonstrations tied to I-CAR course content.
A highlight of the booth will be I-CAR’s mixed attachment methods training prop, part of its Structural Technician Platinum path — a professional development program recognizing advanced structural repair proficiency. The display demonstrates the progression of OEM attachment methods used in structural work.
I-CAR will also showcase a mixed reality training experience that allows attendees to complete a simulated radar replacement and calibration on the I-CAR Cruiser. Mixed reality combines real-world physical tools with digital, computer-generated environments, allowing technicians to practice repairs in an interactive, risk-free setting. The demonstration previews new training capabilities expected to launch in 2026.
In-person courses covering MIG welding, electric vehicle safety and ADAS calibration troubleshooting will run in classrooms S224 and S225. I-CAR leaders will also take part in the MSO Symposium, a business conference for multi-shop operators, and the Collision Industry Red Carpet Awards—an annual event recognizing excellence across the repair sector.
