Toronto, Ontario -- The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association is set to host a one-hour webinar examining insurance market conditions and the trends expected to shape the auto insurance landscape in 2026.
The seminar, Navigating the Sea of Insurance Trends in 2026, is scheduled for Feb. 5 and will focus on insurer profitability, vehicle complexity and shifting market pressures affecting insurers, repairers and automakers.
The session will feature Patrick Sullivan, editor of the auto insurance report at Risk Information, who is expected to outline how insurers are entering 2026 after a return to profitability and what challenges remain ahead. It will provide a broad overview of the underwriting conditions, claims trends and broader economic factors influencing the sector.
It will also explore how changes in vehicle technology and consumer behaviour are affecting claims severity and repair costs, with implications across the collision repair ecosystem.
The webinar is part of the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association’s ongoing education series and is open to industry participants at no cost.
Registration is available through the association’s website.
