Collision Repair magazine is thrilled to join Autoteknik Canada as an official collision repair partner for what promises to become Canada’s next major automotive trade show. Launching in Toronto in June 2027, the new event aims to give the country’s collision repair, automotive aftermarket and vehicle technology sectors something they’ve lacked for years: a truly national stage to connect, discover new technology and do business.

“Canada’s collision repair sector continues to evolve with advances in vehicle technology, repair methods and changing consumer expectations. Creating opportunities for the industry to connect with suppliers, technology providers and solution partners is essential for continued growth,” said Darryl Simmons, publisher of Collision Repair. “Autoteknik Canada represents an important opportunity to bring the broader automotive ecosystem together and support collaboration across the industry. The timing is right. There is nothing else like this in Canada, and our industry has been waiting for a national platform built for exactly this moment.”

Autoteknik Canada will be held at The International Centre from June 9 to 11, 2027. The business-to-business event will run alongside TLB Expo Canada and is designed for companies and professionals across the automotive aftermarket rather than the general public.

The show will bring together suppliers of original equipment and replacement parts, shop equipment, diagnostic tools, batteries, tires, lubricants and vehicle technology, along with paint, body repair and refinishing products. More than 250 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors are expected, supported by a conference program featuring more than 25 industry speakers.

Toronto-based ExhibitIQ Media Inc. is behind the event. Jasmeet Bakshi, co-founder of ExhibitIQ Media, said Autoteknik Canada was created to give suppliers, distributors, repair businesses, dealerships and fleet operators a national meeting place.

“Autoteknik Canada has been developed to bridge this gap by connecting global and domestic suppliers with Canadian buyers, distributors, repair professionals and industry organizations,” Bakshi said.

The Canadian automotive aftermarket industry was valued at US$22.4 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach US$29 billion by 2032. Canada’s vehicle parc now totals approximately 24.6 million vehicles, creating growing demand for products, services and technology throughout the aftermarket.

Syed Ali Akbar, co-founder of ExhibitIQ Media, said Toronto was selected because of its concentration of vehicle manufacturers, parts distributors, dealerships and automotive businesses.

“Taking place in June 2027, the event will create a timely opportunity for businesses to discover new technologies, strengthen partnerships and prepare for the next phase of growth,” Akbar said.

For collision repair professionals, the show will feature products and services spanning refinishing, body repair, diagnostics, electronics, shop equipment, vehicle software, connected vehicle systems and battery technologies.

Andrew Ross, publisher and director of Content, CHAT Integrated Media Inc., publishers of Indie Garage and Jobber Nation and producers of The Great Canadian Aftermarket Podcast, said Canada’s aftermarket is entering one of the most significant periods of change in its history. “New vehicle technologies, an evolving vehicle parc and changing ownership demographics are transforming every corner of the industry,” said Andrew Ross.

“At a time when Canada is attracting increasing attention on the global automotive stage, Autoteknik Canada is set to provide a made-in-Canada opportunity for every sector and every affiliation to come together to do business, share ideas, improve skills, build relationships and ensure the Canadian aftermarket is prepared for whatever comes next,” Ross said.
