Victoria, British Columbia — CARSTAR Canada Velocity conference attendees were back in action today for day three of the event.

The morning included a welcome address and message from keynote speaker Dr. Kimberley Amirault-Ryan, performance consultant within the NHL, NBA and Canadian Olympic teams. She delivered an inspirational address on reaching your highest potential and performed a deep dive into the philosophy of embracing challenges and pushing one’s boundaries under pressure.

An analytics message from Tony Mammone, VP of strategy and analytics, taught attendees how the performance of the entire CARSTAR network related to the industry. Mammone also covered what current trends mean for collision centres in the year ahead.

Breakout sessions with Marty Smith, zone director for CARSTAR; Solera | Audatex’s David Davoodi and Stephen Klemchuk; and Tifarah Senkow Reiche of Advantage Auto Parts, closed out the morning.

A vendor trade show filled the afternoon. Attendees had lunch while milling about the dozens of booths and learning about the latest technology, tools and processes facing the industry.

Following the trade show, attendees retreated in preparation for the 90s-themed formal awards gala on Thursday evening. They donned their best 90s gowns, suits and hair for the event, which honoured CARSTAR’s 2024 top performers and award winners.
