William Charles Holmes (pictured right), the senior director of national accounts at Mevotech, has died. He was 61.
Holmes spent more than 35 years in the automotive aftermarket, including more than three decades with Mevotech, an automotive aftermarket supplier headquartered in the GTA.
A statement released by Mevotech described Holmes as having earned “the respect and admiration of colleagues, partners, and customers across the industry.” It went on to say he was “known not only for his professionalism and commitment, but for his kindness, generosity, and the genuine relationships he built,” and that “his impact extended far beyond his role.”
Bill will be fondly remembered for his loving nature and the genuine relationships he nurtured throughout his life. He was truly loved and respected by all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
In honour of Bill's spirit and the causes dear to him and his loved ones, donations may be made in his memory to the following organizations:
• Bethell Hospice (Inglewood)
• SickKids Foundation (Toronto)
In keeping with Bill's wishes, there will be no public funeral service.
