LKQ promotes Terry Fortner to VP of Insurance, Sales and Marketing

Chicago, Illinois — December 19, 2017 — Terry Fortner has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Insurance, Sales and Marketing at the LKQ Corporation. Previously he was Vice President of Corporate Accounts leading the oversight of key accounts including insurance and collision repair.

Fortner will lead the formation of corporate and strategic sales plans for LKQ’s wholesale division within North America, and will maintain and enhance the company’s relationships with insurance companies, as well as creating new business opportunities. He is now also responsible for the direction and management of all corporate sales, insurance marketing, and business development operations, including market competitiveness and channel strategy. In addition, he has leadership over government affairs and quality assurance.

Prior to LKQ, Fortner spent 32 years at Nationwide Insurance, previously holding the position of Vice President of Material Damage Claims. He holds a BSBA from Western Carolina University and completed executive studies at Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. Fortner is involved in several industry associations and is currently Chairman Emeritus of the Collision Repair Education Foundation. Often he participates as an industry speaker or panel member.
