Industry stakeholders sign up for NACE 2015 exhibit space

North Richland Hills, Texas — December 29, 2014 — With Industry Week on the horizon, key companies from the automotive service and repair industries are quickly signing up for exhibit space ahead of NACE | CARS’s return to Detroit for the 2015 Expo.

More than 8,000 people attended NACE | CARS 2014 and its related Industry Week events, with decision-makers and shop owners gathering from across the US. In addition to US-based shops, more than 20 countries had access to the latest tools and technology for their businesses. Exhibitors reported making numerous sales throughout the duration of the show, a factor that is driving their decision to return for NACE | CARS 2015.

Once again the Automotive Service Association (ASA), a NACE | CARS sponsor, is partnering with numerous associations, events and groups including I-CAR, NABC, CREF, MERA, CCIF and CIC.

Exhibitors have already contracted for more than 25,000 sq. ft of exhibit space for the 2015 Expo. This is 30 percent ahead of last year’s early space draw and equal to the total 2013 exhibit space. ASA is now forecasting a 50 percent increase in Expo size for its return to the Motor City.

OEMs such as Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Honda and Nissan are all returning with the same or larger space from 2014, showcasing their support for NACE | CARS and Industry Week as the destination for the automotive collision market and mechanical repair industry.

With the return of major suppliers including CCC, NAPA, PPG, Chief, Garmat, Celette, Enterprise, Car-O-Liner, Global Finishing, LKQ, UniCure and Painters Supply, the vendor and supplier community is committing to Industry Week and the mission of ASA and its partners to grow an event for the industry, by the industry. Exhibitors in the 2014 event generated many leads from shop owners throughout the United States and internationally—a driving force behind their return in 2015.

“We were very pleased with the workflow, the educational seminars and the venue,” says Car-O-Liner President Jeff Kern. “I especially enjoyed the CRES symposium. Many of our key accounts were there and we were happy to have the opportunity to spend quality time together with them.”

Urethane Supply Company President Kurt Lammon is pleased that NACE is gearing up for the 2015 show.

‘We were happy to be there and are happy with the turnout of shops and distributors,” Lammon says.

John Brill, President of Steck Manufacturing, says the 2014 show offered something for everyone, which adds a sense of excitement to the event.

“It’s great to see all the training and education on aluminum. Life is back at the show,” says Brill.

The 2015 NACE | CARS will be held from July 23 to 25 in Detroit’s Cobo Center.
