In Memoriam: Carmen Demarte

Carmen Demarte of icoat passed away recently at his home.

Cambridge, Ontario — February 29. 2016 — It is with deep regret that we must report the passing of Carmen Demarte. Many in the Canadian repair industry knew Demarte from his work with icoat.

“The icoat family grieves at the loss of this tremendous friend and mentor,” says Wayne Brayd of icoat. “Carm will be missed as he was a great ambassador of our business and trade, and an all around great person.”

Demarte is remembered fondly by his wife Barbara, and his children Matt, Shannon and Mark, and his grandchildren Domenic, Owen, Carter, Aubree and Nolan, his brother Paul, his sister Janice and by many nieces and nephews.

The memorial visitation was held at Corbett Funeral Home in Cambridge, Ontario, on February 19, 2016. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Pound Dog Rescue would be appreciated by the family. More information on the organization, including how to donate, is available at pounddog.ca.
