IBIS Global Summit speaker line-up released

Athens, Greece — April 20, 2015 — The final list of speakers for the International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) Global Summit 2015 has been confirmed.

Running May 28 to 29 at the Hilton Athens in Greece, day one of the conference will host Wijnand Mebius, chairman of the board of co-operation PartsPlan, and managing director of ABS Car Repair in The Netherlands, with a session on PartsPlan, a parts procurement and IT solution, and the Dutch accident repair market.

Mebius will be presenting on behalf of ABS, CARE, AAS, ASN and Schadenet, with a focus on joining autobody chains to build large economies and aim for close cooperation.

Day two’s agenda features Georg Tautz, Business Director CE Europe at Axalta Coating Systems, who will discuss Russia and opportunities available on a global level. Paul Sykes, Managing Director at Audatex (UK), will also be on hand to touch on the demands of Generation Y and how digital innovation works as a response.

Tautz and Sykess join the already announced May 29 line-up, which includes Clive Humby, Yannis Ionniadis, Joe Funk, Rex Green, David Mills, Jake O’Neill and Andy McDonald.

“We’re delighted to have the last sessions confirmed for the conference, with such a high calibre of world-class speakers joining the existing quality contingent to deliver what we expect to be the best IBIS Global Summit to date,” says IBIS CEO Shelley Cheshire. “I look forward to seeing you all again in Athens next month.”
