Norcross, Georgia — October 24, 2013 — AkzoNobel has announced that Ron Giuntini, principal and founder of Giuntini & Company, will join the panel of its Sustainability Leadership Symposium. This industry event will be held during SEMA week in Las Vegas on Monday, November 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Room #N231.
Giuntini is widely recognized as an expert in designing product support strategies, focusing on remanufacturing for leading enterprises in the commercial and military communities. Over the past thirty-five years, he has worked in operations management and consulting with many well-known organizations including General Dynamics, Gould, L-3 Communications, Lockheed Martin, Navistar, DynCorp, Northrop Grumman, FLIR, Rockwell Collins, Rexnord, and the U.S. Army.
Currently, Giuntini serves on the board of advisors for The Remanufacturing Institute (TRI) of Automotive Parts Remanufacturing Association (APRA) and the editorial advisory board of Material Handling & Logistics magazine. He has written numerous articles for industry publications and speaks regularly at conferences and seminars.

The Sustainability Leadership Symposium began in 2010 as an evolution from the AkzoNobel FIT Sustainability Award that was established in 2009 to recognize businesses and associations actively engaged in creating and delivering sustainable business practices to the collision repair segment. Three of the 2013 symposium’s panelists are recipients of the 2013 AkzoNobel FIT Sustainability Award.
