Calgary, Alberta — July 18, 2016 — Technological advances and new OEM materials may leave some repairers feeling like they’ve been caught in a stampede. That makes Calgary an especially appropriate city to host the latest Color Compass equipment event.

The event, held at Color Compass training centre in Calgary drew repairers from across Southern Alberta to see the latest in equipment to perform safe, high-quality repairs and increase productivity. The Calgary equipment showcase was hosted by Carlson Body Shop Supply and Chase Auto Body Supplies.

Color Compass events tend to focus on practical, hands-on demonstrations. This latest event followed the same successful pattern, with demonstrations from key manufacturers including Caruk & Associates, CPS Products, Ammco Lifts, Matrix Wand, BETAG Innovations, Pro Spot and Wedge Clamp.
Doug Lawson is the Manager of Heninger Collision Centre, located in Calgary. He attended the event and appreciated the chance to speak directly to equipment reps and manufacturers.

“Although informal by design, with BBQ and light snacks, the equipment expo was packed with a wealth of the latest body shop technology and industry experts that I could grill and put through their paces with my trusted staff and colleagues,” says Lawson. “My time at the show was an extremely convenient and a valuable couple of hours, and all the while, production was still rolling at my shop.”
