A Double Circuit Certification: CARSTAR Etobicoke Central and CARSTAR London Centre secure Tesla certifications

Toronto, Ontario — Both CARSTAR Etobicoke Central and CARSTAR London Centre have announced successful Tesla certifications.

On November 28, CARSTAR Etobicoke Centre, owned by George Troka, has been serving the community for nearly five years and can now meet the needs of more customers in the Etobicoke and surrounding area seeking quality repair, no matter their engine type.

“We are pleased to enhance our offering to the many Tesla customers in our area,” said Troka.

“With the new certification, we can service more people and provide them with expert collision repair services allowing them to return to the road safely and efficiently.”

To achieve Tesla certification, approved body shops must undergo rigorous training. The shops are held to a high standard in order to ensure that they are meeting Tesla’s mission of providing collision centres with the necessary training, procedures, parts and tools needed to achieve safety, performance and aesthetic repairs.

“As the presence of EVs on the roads continues to increase, collision repair facilities and insurance partners have a greater level of responsibility to serve as the trusted repair and claims partner that they need,” said Dave Foster, VP of network promotion and development, CARSTAR Canada.

“Centers such as CARSTAR Etobicoke Central have seen firsthand how obtaining EV certifications equip their facility with the right tools and knowledge to help a broader customer base. I’m excited to watch this center continue to thrive in their market by being able to service a growing population of EV owners!”

Alongside CARSTAR Etobicoke Centre, CARSTAR London Centre (Don Mor) has also recently announced the achievement of a Tesla certification.

With this certification, CARSTAR London Centre has become one of the first facilities in the London, Ontario area to earn Tesla repair recognition.

“Tesla vehicles are growing quickly in popularity in our region and we want to ensure our facility is equipped and trained to support these drivers,” says Don Morton, owner, CARSTAR London Centre (Don Mor). “We know these vehicles are complex so getting a head start on training and education for Tesla will only serve us better as electric cars continue to break through the automotive industry.”

“CARSTAR London Centre (Don Mor) is an impressive store, as Don always encourages his team to stay ahead of the latest technologies and industry trends,” says Dave Foster, VP of Network Promotion and Development, CARSTAR. “I’m incredibly proud of this team for all of their hard work, and I know customers and our insurance partners will see their dedication shine through with each repair.”

As with CARSTAR Etobicoke Central, CARSTAR London Centre is monitored and supported by Tesla Body Repair Program team who work with repair facilities to ensure that customer Tesla’s are repaired correctly.
