Effortless Assessments: New Volvo Valet app allows contactless pick-up for repairs

Richmond Hill, Ontario – Volvo Canada has announced a new way to deliver on-demand maintenance, safely and conveniently from a customer’s smartphone.

The all-new Volvo Valet app allows Volvo owners to schedule appointments and choose a pick-up location, either at home or the workplace, where a Volvo employee will be dispatched to collect the vehicle for maintenance, according to a press release Monday.

“Safety has always been a top priority for Volvo, and that will never change,” said managing director of Volvo Cars Canada, Matt Girgis. 

“What will change is the technologies we employ to improve the customer experience. Volvo Valet is one way we are working to service our valued customers, safely and conveniently.”

Volvo Valet functions like other ride-hailing apps in that it allows the user to monitor the progress of repairs in real-time as well as track the car while it is on the road.

“Our Canadian Retailer network is dedicated to providing essential services to our Volvo Family,” said Girgis. 

“With Volvo Valet, our customers don’t need to slow down or pause on what’s important in their lives. The app offers our customers exclusive access to a transparent maintenance process to help make their lives less complicated, more comfortable, and safer.”

The app is available for Android and iOS but is limited to participating retailers.
