Toronto, Ontario — June 15, 2016 — For the last four years, CSN Collision Centres has participated in Make-A-Wish Canada’s Rope for Hope events. The mission of Make-A-Wish Canada is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. This year, CSN participated as a National Rope Sponsor and Jordie Bevan of CSN Corporate rappelled down the side of Toronto’s City Hall.
“It was an incredible rush to be able to hang 30 stories above Toronto! Most of us only need to be brave for an hour or two out of our day, which is only a fraction of what these courageous children do every day, and that is truly inspiring to me, says Bevan. “I am grateful to be a part of an organization that helps contribute to making wishes come true for some really awesome kids.”
The Toronto event saw great attendance and the money raised will grant over 30 wishes in the Toronto and Central Ontario community this year. Toronto is the first of four great Rope for Hope events this summer of which CSN Collision Centres is a national rope sponsor for. CSN will be joining in the action and sponsoring the Rope for Hope events in Halifax on June 18, Calgary on July 7 and Vancouver on July 8.
