Crash for Cash: Watch every ‘Fast and Furious’ movie, make $1,000, says FinanceBuzz

Toronto, Ontario — Finally, the opportunity to get paid for being a collision know-it-all has arrived—and all it requires is about 21 hours of free time and a high tolerance for Vin Diesel.

That’s right, FinanceBuzz is offering a cool $1,000 to anyone willing to binge watch all nine “Fast and Furious” movies and take notes on every crash you see—fans have recorded a total of 1,487 vehicles that have been wrecked over the course of the franchise, so this truly is no small task.

Additionally, participants will be asked to note the extent of the damage, the types of vehicles involved in the collision, on top of keeping a tally of the total number of collisions.

All this homework is to be done ahead of the premiere of “Fast X” on May 19, at which point FinanceBuzz will spot you $100 for tickets and snacks to see the movie in theatres—and at which point you will make yourself publicly known for being the person who takes notes on “Fast and Furious” movies like it’s a university lecture.

The site says the data collected from participants will be used as the basis for an upcoming story.

This opportunity is only available to U.S. residents, which may ultimately be for the best as Collision Repair cannot ethically endorse viewing that many “Fast and Furious” movies in such rapid succession.

If you do know an American you think would subject themselves to this, more information on applying can be found here.
