Colson Cole joins AkzoNobel as Key Account Manager

Toronto, Ontario — March 26, 2017 — Colson Cole has joined AkzoNobel Vehicle Refinishes in the capacity of Key Account Manager in Canada. He will report to David Smith, VR Sales Leader in Canada. In this role, Cole will be responsible for the strategic direction and partnerships with national and local networks. A statement from the company says Cole will also continue to build strategic partnerships between the Canadian insurance industry and AkzoNobel.

As Key Account Manager, Cole will be responsible for key network customer retention and developing of new network end-user business, to include a focus on expanding AkzoNobel’s relationships with network partners. A statement from the company says that Cole’s strong relationships within the networks and insurance focus in Canada will allow AkzoNobel to continue to drive growth within the collision repair market.

Cole brings over 15 years of experience in the Canadian collision industry to his new position with AkzoNobel. Through these 15 years he has held various roles as collision centre management, paint and body distribution management and most recently Vice President of Operations at CARSTAR Canada. A statement from the company says Cole’s industry experience will enable him to to bring value to all of AkzoNobel’s internal and external partners and stakeholders.
