Collision Industry Conference kicks off

Toronto, Ontario — July 23, 2019 – Collision repairers across North America are all revved up and ready for the Collision Industry Conference (CIC), kicking off tomorrow afternoon.

The Collision Industry Conference is a forum comprised of leaders from different industry segments, working together to solve issues within the industry as a whole.

The conference is hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana and will feature many panel discussions – allowing members to collaborate and freely express their concerns and solutions for the industry.

According to CIC, the first-panel discussion will, “help attendees better understand the relationships between vehicle manufacturers and parts manufacturers.”

Other discussions will focus on apprenticeships, vehicle security access, and accountable estimating. These discussions will be led by many experts in the industry and will also allow attendees to have time to voice their own opinions, questions, and concerns on the ‘open mic’.

“The meetings are open to all interested individuals of all segments of the industry to include repairers, insurers, paint, and material companies, equipment, vehicle manufacturers, data providers, representatives of trade associations, anyone with an interest in creating a more professional industry,” stated CIC. “Each agenda has time set aside for participants to publicly address their concerns that are not on the published agenda through the time set aside.”

The conference is expected to be widely attended, with more than fifty sponsors and hundreds representing every aspect of the industry.

“We are thankful to have so many industry segments participate, and stay involved, to see positive advancement for the collision industry,” stated CIC.
