Dorval, Quebec — Quebec-based glass repair chain, Docteur du Pare-Brise, has announced that it is fighting back against breast cancer through a new partnership with the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation (QBCF) to support its My Active HealthTM program.
From Sept. 1 to Oct. 31, Docteur du Pare-Brise locations across Quebec will donate $10 to the QBCF for every windshield repair and replacement.
“Changes in temperature affects glass putting stress on even the smallest windshield chips, which is what can cause windshield cracks,” said Maurice Filion, president of Docteur du Pare-Brise’s parent company Uniban.
“Fall is the best time to get your windshield checked by one of our professionals, to ensure your vehicle is ready before those cold winter months. Especially now, as we are proud to give $10 from each windshield repair and replacement to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, supporting their My Active HealthTM program.”
The My Active HealthTM program was launched in 2017 and “aims to help motivate and maintain a physically active and healthy lifestyle” through free services adapted to a person’s individual needs.
Docteur du Pare-Brise is also collecting customer donations throughout the year.
