Centennial College hosts info session for Tropicana students

Toronto, Ontario — April 2, 2018 — This past Friday, Centennial College invited a number of interested student applicants from Tropicana Employment Centre for an information session and a tour of the autobody and collision repair lab. They also toured the welding lab and the paint booth areas. This was preceded by a presentation from Tropicana staff, industry trade association CIIA staff and a special visit from Peter Wrong of 3M Canada, outlining job and income prospects.
 
The Tropicana Community Service autobody and collision damage repair pre-apprenticeship course will begin April 3. The Level 1 Tropicana Community Services autobody course is offered over a 30 week time frame for those between 18 and 30 years old. There is no cost for this training. Training includes a paid 12 week paid work placement and tours and visits to bodyshops with a no charge toolkit for each graduate presented at the end of the training.
