Copetown, Ontario — June 30, 2014 — CARSTAR Canada recently hit the links for its annual golf tournament in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
About 150 golf enthusiasts turned out for the 20th annual CARSTAR Charity Golf Classic, which took place at the Beverly Golf & Country Club on Thursday, June 26.
CARSTAR employees were joined for 18 holes of golf by insurers and suppliers, with all proceeds supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s efforts.
Everyone who played was also able to take part in additional contests, including a marshmellow whacking activity where the purpose was to hit a jumbo-sized marshmellow off the ground as far as possible.
The festitivies ended with a closing ceremony, dinner and cheque presentation.
