Toronto, Ontario — May 31, 2019 — CARSTAR is opening a new shop in Bonnyville Alberta.
Brad Szydlik, a seasoned veteran in the automotive industry, has been a practicing auto body technician for more than 22 years before opening his own repair centre in 2015.
In between his transition from technician to business owner, Szydlik took a break from the industry, which he says was a key period for car advancements.
“When I came back, being a part of a banner was important and I really did my research to find the right fit,” said Szydlik. “I felt like CARSTAR did its due diligence to make sure I checked out as well, which instilled further confidence in my choice to join this network.”
The CARSTAR facility is 10,000 square ft., aluminum certified and the team plans on earning their OEM and I-Car certifications to further improve their shop’s qualifications.
“Performance for our network has always been at the forefront, so it is key for new stores joining the CARSTAR family to have that commitment to stay up to date on training,” stated Mike Piper, western zone director of CARSTAR.
“Brad and his team in Bonnyville align well with the CARSTAR values and we are excited to have them in the network and support their growth plans.”
Szydlik and the team plan to continue to “pay it forward” and support the Bonnyville community as they begin their partnership. According to a CARSTAR press release, Szydlik and his team hope to continue sponsoring local golf tournaments, hockey teams, amd car shows.
