Hamilton, Ontario — October 11, 2016 — CARSTAR Canada has announced the opening of CARSTAR Midland. The facility is located at 824 King Street in Midland, Ontario.
CARSTAR Midland is located within the Tom Smith Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership. Both CARSTAR Midland and the dealership are owned and operated by Steve Jacklin.
A statement from CARSTAR says Jacklin has extensive experience in the automotive industry, dating back to the late 80s. In 2012, he purchased the 27,000 sq.ft. dealership and has recently transitioned 6,000 sq.ft. of the location into CARSTAR Midland. Featuring advanced equipment, a renovated, modern customer service lounge, and in-house car rentals available, CARSTAR Midland employs seven staff with plans for future growth.
“We are eager to grow our business with a successful brand, such as CARSTAR,” says Jacklin. “Through their structure and process we know we will be able to bring a higher level of confidence from both our customers and our employees to our business.”
Throughout the years, the location has supported many community activities including children’s sports and senior initiatives and is currently a gold level partner of the Georgian Bay Hospital Foundation.
