Hamilton, Ontario — July 14, 2016 — CARSTAR Canada has announced the addition of CARSTAR Cardston to its network of stores. Located at 304 Main Street in Cardston, Alberta, CARSTAR Cardston is a third generation, family business which first opened in 1955.
Franchise partner Darin Sommerfeldt started in the auto repair business in the early 80s, working at the facility owned and operated by his parents, Ted and Carole Sommerfeldt. Darin and his brother Michael have been running the business for about 10 years.
CARSTAR Cardston is a 14,000 sq.ft. facility, with a recent 5,000 sq.ft. area added for extra repair and office space. The addition provided CARSTAR Cardston with room to be fully equipped and set-up for aluminum repair.
“CARSTAR really seemed like the right choice for our business. They are a powerful brand with positive reputation in the Alberta market,” said Darin. “We are excited to join the CARSTAR network and look forward to improving our business through their support.”
Throughout the years, CARSTAR Cardston has valued the importance of giving back to the community.
