BendPak has expanded its APEX equipment lineup with the introduction of two-post vehicle lifts, tire changers and wheel balancers aimed at shops seeking lower-cost alternatives to premium service equipment.
The new lineup includes the AL9LC and AL10C two-post lifts. The AL9LC is a floorplate lift designed for lower-ceiling shops, while the AL10C uses a clear-floor configuration that allows unobstructed access beneath raised vehicles. Both lifts are rated for passenger vehicles and light trucks and are equipped with automatic safety locks and adjustable lifting arms.
APEX has also added the AT26 and AT26A tire changers. Both models use swing-arm designs and electric turntables intended for handling low-profile tires and larger-diameter wheels. The AT26A includes a pneumatic assist arm to reduce manual effort when mounting and demounting stiff or oversized tires.
Wheel service offerings include the AB24M and AB28 manual wheel balancers. The balancers are designed for general service applications and are capable of handling a wide range of wheel sizes. The AB24M can be mounted directly to a tire changer or a vertical stand, allowing shops to combine tire changing and balancing in a single workstation.
“Our new APEX lineup is designed for customers who want well-built lifts and wheel service equipment they can rely on to get the job done,” said Tyler Rex, senior director of marketing at BendPak. “They don’t necessarily need — and definitely don’t want to pay for — all the bells and whistles.”
