Toronto, Ontario -- For those who work at the front desk of a collision repair business, it is important to understand exactly what is happening throughout the facility.
To help familiarize front-of-house workers with how it operates, 3M is offering a three-day front office collision repair training course out of its Skills Development Center in St. Paul, Minnesota—a 1,400-square-metre (15,000-square-foot) facility that includes a full-sized 10.6-metre (35-foot) GFS XL paint booth and a welding area.
The course is a mix of classroom and practical instruction, designed to help front office staff write better estimates, communicate more effectively with insurers and generally avoid getting roasted in the office group chat.
The US$2,500 course is aligned with I-CAR gold and platinum class training standards. Those interested in attending can register through the 3M events portal.
