Toronto, Ontario —The 11th annual Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services (CAPAS) is promising to spotlight the future of auto repairing in Southwest China.

As China’s Sichuan-Chongqing region continues to solidify its position as a leading automotive manufacturing base, CAPAS 2025 aims to showcase the sector’s shift toward new energy vehicles, smart connectivity and AI-driven innovation. Organizers expect a record turnout of both domestic and international brands, reflecting surging regional demand and economic momentum.

Notably, Zhi Li Wu Lian will unveil its latest lithium battery solution with cloud-based lifecycle management, while Aierfu will display precision steering systems for autonomous vehicles. Meanwhile, established parts manufacturers are also making strides—SDS will introduce an energy-efficient electronic disconnect differential, and Wonder Halla will showcase a new flat copper wire motor for enhanced performance.

This year’s CAPAS will place a sharp focus on technological advancements in the NEV sector, featuring key players like Feng Chuan Powertrain, GRESGYING, Kaiyi Auto, and the Sichuan New Energy Vehicle Innovation Center.

Exhibits will focus on three areas: core vehicle components, autonomous driving, and vehicle connectivity. During the event, several companies are expected to unveil new products. Geely is expected to show off its Farizon electric light truck designed for short-haul logistics and Hyundai will unveil hydrogen-powered trucks built for long-range and heavy-duty use. Easyland, BELT, SINOTRUK, and Shudu Bus will also present next-generation solutions, including air compressors optimized for hydrogen fuel cells and advanced electric vehicle drivetrains.

The event is set to run from May 22 to 24 at the Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition and Convention Center. The Mandarin-language event will feature more than 720 exhibitors across 50,000 square metres of exhibition space.

The fair will also feature a dedicated Industry-Education Integration Zone, supporting talent development through hands-on NEV repair workshops, job recruitment sessions, and training forums. The Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket Development Conference and several international cooperation events will explore cost efficiency, supply chain resilience, and global expansion strategies.
