Winnipeg, Manitoba — November 7, 2013 — The Boyd Group has opened two new repair centres in Maryland, one located in Catonsville situated just west of the Baltimore city border and one in Ellicott City, the county seat of Howard County and listed amongst the most affluent communities in the U.S.
The Catonsville and Ellicott City repair centres are approximately 12,500 square feet, and previously operated as Pie’s Body Shop and Pie’s Auto Collision Experts, respectively. Both Centers now operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. With these two new additions, the Boyd Group owns and operates nine repair centers in Maryland, which brings the total current number of U.S. locations in operation to 216 including those branded as Hansen Collision and Glass.
“The opening of these two well-situated centres shows our strong commitment to further grow our business,” said Tim O’Day, President and COO of the Boyd Group’s U.S. operations. “Our successful execution of single-location additions allows us to broaden our geographic footprint while expanding our reach to better serve new and existing customers. We are within our stated range of 6 to 10 percent growth in single-location additions this year and expect to continue with this momentum.”
The Boyd Group is continuously looking to add new collision repair locations to its existing network in Canada and the U.S. Interested collision repair centre owners are asked to contact Kim Allen at kim.allen@gerbercollision.com for more information.
