Automechanika Goes Hybrid: Frankfurt event to be hosted online

Frankfurt, Germany — Automechanika Frankfurt is going hybrid this year.

Automechanika Frankfurt is calling this a ‘digital plus’ event, with live in-person events and digital enhancements for those unable to be onsite.

The physical event will take place in Frankfurt, Germany from September 14 – 28. With exhibitors’ product information and company profiles remaining online even after the event has finished.

“Thanks to a digital matchmaking and scheduling tool and facilities for live chats and 1:1 video calls, exhibitors will be able to communicate directly with their customers and generate new leads,” says Olaf Musshoff, Director of Automechanika Frankfurt. “We are making these services available free of charge this year to the approximate 2,000 exhibitors who have already confirmed that they are taking part.”

Anyone unable to attend the event physically will be able to take part in a series of live streams. These streams include a program called ‘Collision talk’, the Automechanika Innovation Awards, Automechanika Academy – an event focusing on themes that are important to the future – and a special program for shops.

Most of the content will also be available online in the media centre afterwards.

It is expected that the trade fair will be held completely in person in 2022.
