North Richland Hills, Texas — August 31, 2016 — The Automotive Management Institute (AMi) has created three new awards to express its appreciation for its industry partner’s support over the past year.
The awards were given out at the organization’s annual “Celebration of Excellence” awards ceremony at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim, Calif.
Two individuals and one organization were selected to receive the new awards in recognition for their support of the Automotive Management Institute’s “Next Generation” initiative. For more on this initiative, please see “Automotive Management Institute online courses now available.”
“These individuals and their companies were the first to see the “Next Generation” future for AMi and insisted on being a part of the journey. We truly appreciate their willingness to step up and make a positive difference in the industry,” said AMi President, Jeff Peevy.
The AMi Collision Training Provider of the Year – Mike Anderson of Collision Advice was recognized as the top collision repair segment training professional to embrace the “Next Generation of AMi”, vision and core belief.
The AMi Mechanical Training Provider of the Year – Jeremy O’Neal, AMAM, AdvisorFix, was recognized as the top service repair segment training professional to embrace the “Next Generation of AMi”, vision and core belief.
The AMi Industry Partner of the Year – the award was presented to Kukui and accepted by Todd Westerlund, CEO, in recognition for the company’s efforts in building the new AMi website, which supports its new learning management platform.
