Leesburg, Virginia — November 4, 2015 — The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) is now accepting applications for its 2016 scholarship program.
The organization says it is committed to financially supporting females who demonstrate their desire to excel in collision repair through scholarships that will provide tuition assistance, educational opportunities and enrichment to qualified applicants.
Students interested in applying for scholarships in 2016 should submit an application prior to January 15, 2016. The program will include:
- The College Student Tuition and Conference Scholarship Award is presented to students enrolled in a post-secondary collision repair technology program. Each scholarship recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship to continue their post-secondary education in collision repair and a one-year WIN Membership. Some recipients will also be selected to receive the registration fee and travel expenses to attend the 2016 WIN Educational Conference in Tampa, Florida from May 2 to 4.
- The High School Tuition Scholarship Award is presented to students enrolled in a secondary school collision repair program who plan to continue their education at a technical school or college. Each scholarship winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship to continue their post-secondary education in collision repair and a one-year WIN membership.
In addition, scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to be mentored by a 2016 recipient of the Most Influential Women (MIW) award, being presented during the 2016 Educational Conference.
