Two trucks stolen from shop in BC

Lake Country, British Columbia — May 11, 2016 — Officers from the local detachment of the RCMP are investigating after two pickup trucks were stolen from Lake Country Motor Sports. The facility is located on Glenmore Rd. in Lake Country, British Columbia.

According to the RCMP report, the suspect or suspects broke a rear window to gain access to the business. They then reached in through the broken window and stole two sets of keys. These were then used to steal the two pickups.

The stolen vehicles are a black 2011 Chevrolet Silverado with VIN 1GC4K1C85BF165951 and a black 2005 GMC Sierra pickup with VIN 1GTJK33245F826030. The GMC Sierra bore a BC license plate reading DW6500 at the time of the theft.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect or suspects involved in this crime. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Const.
