Toronto, Ontario -- Bosch Diagnostics has released new software updates for its ADS-X series scan tools, expanding coverage to include 2026 model year vehicles and enhancing support for more recent models.
The updates, versions 6.11 and 6.12, add diagnostic data and bi-directional control coverage for 2026 Chevrolet and GMC vehicles. They also extend ADAS calibration coverage for 2024 through 2026 models from Fiat, Volkswagen, RAM, Chevrolet and GMC.
Nearly 6,000 new special tests and 450 additional system applications are included in the update. Bosch said the release also delivers support for Volkswagen Group’s Security Function Diagnostic system on 2023 and 2024 models, along with a two-step secure gateway unlock for Stellantis vehicles.
The company said shops with active ADS-X subscriptions will receive the updates automatically.
Bosch has positioned the ADS-X scan tools as an evolving platform, with regular updates designed to keep pace with vehicle technology and OEM security protocols. The company said the expanded coverage will help collision and repair shops service newer vehicles more effectively while reducing downtime from outdated software.
