Hornby, Ontario — October 8, 2016 — Speedy Collision recently stepped up to raise funds in support of Crime Stoppers of Halton. The company served as the sponsor of the organization’s 9th annual charity golf tournament, held at Royal Ontario Golf Club in Hornby, Ontario. In total, the tournament raised $25,000 to help Crime Stoppers of Halton.

Golfers came from a variety of sectors, but it was the auto repair sector that really came through. Nearly half of the participating foursomes were comprised of automotive professionals.

The funds raised go to support Crime Stoppers services, including maintaining the phone service hotline, tip payouts, and community crime prevention and educational programs.

“Crime Stoppers is an extremely valuable part of our communities in fighting crime and making our neighbourhoods safe,” says Speedy Collision CEO Terry Allen. “Speedy Collision is honoured to support this worthwhile and affective cause.”
