Toronto, Ontario — September 28, 2018 — It was an exciting time for Sherwin Williams during the Automechanika Frankfurt trade show this year as they made a series of launches and announcements about the company’s major refinishing brands.
Octoral was one of the brands displayed that ended up being one of the event’s most eye-catching displays. The campaign used striking and colorful visuals, inspired by nature, to highlight how Octoral helps businesses thrive today and in the future.
For another brand announcement, Prospray said they are becoming available in more markets within the EMEA region next year and Spralac BodyWorks was introduced as the range of eight new body fillers, part of the Spralac ancillary range.
Through the Automotive Finishes division, Sherwin Williams brought over 100 years of experience in vehicle refinishing to life at the show. It was a great first event for the company.

The theme the company took on was ‘Mastery of Refinishing’, telling the story of its decades of experience in vehicle refinishing as well as its focus on digital innovation. A virtual reality refinishing experience received high engagement with over 700 participants, a preview of its brand-new digital spectrophotometer (due for release in 2019) and demo of its new online training program brought the digital focus to life
This year Automechanika took place early September with 136,000 visitors. It celebrated its 25th anniversary and played host to more than 5,000 exhibitors.
