Calgary, Alberta -- In November, Auto dealers in Western Canada will head for the turquoise waters of Alberta's Lake Louise for the Western Canadian Dealer Summit.
The returns to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise from November 13 to 16 for three days of discussion on the technologies and partnerships shaping the future of automotive retail—and by extension, the collision repair industry that supports it.
Hosted by the Motor Dealers Association of Alberta, the event has already sold out of sponsorships and its ticket sales show it is on pace to see record attendance.
That enthusiasm reflects a market in transition, where advanced driver-assistance systems, cybersecurity and digital diagnostics are redrawing the boundaries between vehicle sales and aftersales service.
The 2025 agenda features sessions on artificial intelligence, fraud prevention, leadership and fixed operations—topics that increasingly overlap with collision repair as connected vehicles, telematics and data access become central to post-sale care. A live cybersecurity demonstration will illustrate just how easily a mobile device can be compromised, a lesson with direct relevance to repair facilities managing customer data and connected vehicles.
Speakers include entrepreneur W. Brett Wilson, Paragon Honda’s Brian Benstock, industry analyst Charlie Vogelheim, digital strategist Mathew Growden and LGM Financial’s Maddy Murray, all offering perspectives on adaptation and resilience in a rapidly digitizing sector.
