London, Ontario — March 28, 2016 — PBE Distributors has announced it will hold its Spring 2016 Trade Show at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale in Mississauga, Ontario.
This annual event is a chance for distributors to see new products for the body shop and educate themselves on proper applications so they can pass the information on to their customers.
In past years, the event was typically held in London, Ontario, home of PBE Distributors’ headquarters in the province. This year the Spring 2016 Trade Show will come to the Greater Toronto Area for the first time.
Darrin Heise is Sales Manager, Central & Eastern Canada for PBE Distributors. He discussed the upcoming show in an interview with Collision Repair magazine.
“We’ve always held it in London, but this year we decided to change it up a bit,” said Heise. “There are quite a few people who fly in for this event, and it’s easier for them to get from the airport to Mississauga than it is to London.”
The venue isn’t the only change. The PBE Distributors Spring Trade Show is geared specifically towards distributors, but the 2016 show may also see guests invited directly from body shops. The event is not completely open to the industry, but distributors are permitted to invite key customers to attend.
“Our jobbers have been told they can invite some of their key collision repair accounts,” said Heise. “This year we’re really featuring a lot of new technology and it’s important for our distributors to be able to get that information out to the shops.”
