Canadian Catch: Highway Thru Hell star named U.S. brand partner

Germantown, Wisconsin — April 29, 2020 — A Canadian towing legend has been scouted by an American company to serve as a brand representative.

Highway Thru Hell star and heavy-duty rescue operator Al Quiring of Quiring Towing and Recovery in British Columbia has been hired as a brand partner for the J.W. Speaker Corporation, which produced LED lighting for industrial uses.

“ We are proud to work with Al and his team and provide superior lighting that delivers a safe working zone for those whose nine-to-five job is 24-hours of dangerous, difficult and heroic work,” said  J.W. Speaker CEO Tim Speaker.

Specialized in LED and other emerging lighting technologies, J.W. Speaker is focused on developing innovative, high-performance vehicular lighting solutions for OEM and aftermarket customers around the world.

“The first time I used J.W. Speaker SmartHeat lights, I had done a trip across the Coquihalla Highway and was absolutely astounded by the visibility improvement from the headlight,” said Quiring in his first statement as a brand partner.

According to Quiring in a promotional video, he first installed J.W. Speaker LED lights on his vehicles seven years ago.

“If you’re outside the cab wiping down your lights due to winter conditions, you’re hoping the next vehicle coming towards you has good lights and is going to see you on the side of the road. These heated lights keep you in the cab and they keep you safe.”

His current truck is outfitted with the 8800 SmartHeat headlights, Model 793 Safety Lights, Model 274 Signal Lights and Model 523 Work Lights.
