Boyd Autobody & Glass will host an Auto Body Technician Hiring Event on April 23 at Bean Scene Coffee Works, aiming to recruit experienced technicians for multiple full-time roles across Western Canada amid ongoing labour shortages.
The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. PDT, with programming beginning at noon, and will connect job seekers directly with company recruiters and market leaders.
Open roles include full-time autobody technician positions in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Saanichton, reflecting broader hiring needs across British Columbia and Alberta.
“This Boyd Autobody & Glass hiring event focuses on directly connecting with skilled autobody technicians in the Kelowna market,” said Alexandre Savard, TDP and technician training manager at Boyd Autobody and Glass. “The technician shortage at the experienced level continues to challenge our industry, and we are actively investing in attracting and supporting top talent.”
According to Savard, the event is designed to offer candidates an opportunity to have in-person conversations about career paths, compensation and training supports, while allowing the company to accelerate hiring for multiple locations.
The company is offering a compensation package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, 10 days paid time off and RRSP matching. Technicians will also have access to advanced hands-on training, I-CAR Platinum certification support and Red Seal exam assistance.
