A Fresh Coat: PPG names Alisha Bellezza v-p of automotive coatings

PPGBellezza

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — The global automotive coatings division at PPG has a new vice president, as the company announced the appointment of Alisha Bellezza to the position in a Monday press release.

No stranger to the coatings and chemicals industry, Bellezza most recently spent the last eight years as president of thermal and specialized solutions and executive team member at Chemours, having worked there since its foundation in 2015.

In her new role, which she officially starts on July 17, Bellezza will be responsible for supporting innovation and expansion within PPG’s automotive coatings division.

“Alisha is a proven, growth-minded leader with deep knowledge of the paint and coatings industry,” said PPG senior vice president Kevin Braun.

“Her executive leadership experience coupled with her broad expertise in commercial, operations and supply chain functions make her an ideal leader to drive further success and development for our automotive coatings business.”

Bellezza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Tulane University in New Orleans, La., and an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., according to PPG’s press release.

She will succeed Vincent Robin, who plans to retire effective July 31.
