Toronto, Ontario – November 23, 2018 — Go Auto, Edmonton’s largest automotive dealership network, has been recognized by Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures in 2018.

Go Auto is comprised of more than 40 dealerships in AB, B.C., N.W.T. and ON, plus multiple repair and collision repair facilities.

“As one of Canada’s largest dealer networks, we believe it is our responsibility to make the industry better,” said Go Auto president, Jason Smith.

“That starts with our people. When you take great care of your employees they will take exceptional care of your customers. We want to inspire the next wave of great automotive leaders, not just in our communities, but in our country. To this end, we are committed to strengthening our people, our brands, and our industry.”

The Most Admired Corporate Cultures program identifies organizations with performance enhancing cultures. Organizations were judged on six categories which included vision and leadership, recruitment and hiring for fit, cultural alignment and measurement, retention, rewards and recognition, organizational performance, and corporate social responsibility.

Go Auto regularly contributes to charitable organizations. Not only did it give $1 million to its employees to be used towards the Random Acts of Kindness in their communities, but employees can also volunteer every week for Go Auto Fuels the Schools, a program that delivers food to underprivileged school children across Edmonton.

“This year’s winning organizations are to be admired for the diverse and impactful ways they ensure culture underpins their success,” said Marty Parker, president and chief executive officer of Waterstone Human Capital and Chair of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures.

Go Auto’s full-time Employee Experience team organizes events such as: annual meet and greets with the Edmonton Oilers, Corporate Challenge events, expenses-paid trips for top performers, a 20-dealership BBQ tour catered by Go Auto’s in-house kitchen team, and an employee lunch program that makes over 1,200 meals every week.
