Solera is expanding its Canadian operations by appointing Omar Nabil as vice-president of sales and country leader, Canada insurance, as part of a broader push to grow its footprint in the domestic insurance and claims market.
In a company release, the Texan company described the move as a strategic investment in Canada, positioning Nabil to lead the company’s insurance business nationally and deepen relationships with insurers, repairers and industry partners. He will focus on supporting customers as the sector accelerates adoption of digital claims workflows, automation and AI-enabled tools.
Based in the Greater Montreal area, Nabil brings nearly two decades of experience in sales leadership and technology-driven market growth to the role, having held senior positions focused on go-to-market strategy and customer engagement across the technology and services sectors before joining Solera.
The company said Canada represents a priority growth market and outlined plans to strengthen its national presence through expanded local leadership and closer collaboration with clients. Solera’s platform spans vehicle lifecycle management, including claims processing, estimating systems, repair intelligence and data analytics.
“Canada’s claims industry is entering an exciting new phase of innovation and modernization,” Nabil said in the release, adding that Solera intends to work closely with Canadian insurers to improve efficiency and transparency across the claims journey.
Solera operates globally, providing software and data solutions to insurers, collision repair facilities and fleet operators. The company said its latest leadership appointment signals long-term commitment to the Canadian market as claims and repair ecosystems continue to modernize.
