Giving Back on Game Day: CARSTAR celebrates Collingwood Blues at Game Day event

Collingwood, Ontario – On February 7th, 2025, CARSTAR hosted a special game day event at the Collingwood Blues game at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena.

As noted in a recent press release, ten employees from CARSTAR Collingwood, along with corporate staff, were in attendance to show their support for the Blues as they competed against the Burlington Cougars.

Additionally, on behalf of CARSTAR, 150 fans were gifted hockey sticks, with three standout players earning car detailing certificates from CARSTAR Collingwood.

Finally, as part of a community commitment, CARSTAR also hosted a Chuck a Puck fundraiser to support cystic fibrosis research and care. The Collingwood Blues further contributed $500 to the cause, which CARSTAR Collingwood doubled to a total contribution of $1,500.

“It’s always exciting to engage with the local community, and the energy in the arena was fantastic,” said Gary Boucher, owner of CARSTAR Collingwood. “Being part of such a thrilling event and giving back to fans and community makes it even more special.”

“It’s great to see CARSTAR actually involved with local sports and fundraising initiatives,” said Collin Welsh, Ontario Zone Director, CARSTAR Canada. “It’s all about creating lasting connections and making a positive impact.”

The game ended with the Collingwood Blues securing a 4-3 victory over the Burlington Cougars.
